In April and June 2024, Innovation Salzburg organised the multi-part workshop series ‘Health.Research.Connect’ for care, health and rehabilitation researchers with the support of the RehaHub. The aim of the workshop was to facilitate (interregional) cooperation, strengthen research in the fields of care, health and rehabilitation through innovative projects and promote the pooling of expertise in and around the region. The implementation of the workshop series was supported by the expertise and participation of Lara Arth and Thomas Palfinger from the LBG’s Open Innovation in Science (OIS) Centre.
Exciting networking and idea development processes with 21 researchers laid the foundations for several promising research projects in the province of Salzburg and the region.
The project ideas cover the topics of climate change adaptation and heat resilience in rehabilitation, sustainable extramural support before and after the rehabilitation stay as well as digital support measures.
